Greetings alien lovers! 

We're getting ready for DoKomi! That means scrambling to order the products we'll sell, buying equipment for the event, making visuals for all the products (you gotta design those badges/banners/cards after all) and crying at the shipping costs. 

Still, we managed to get more things done these past 2 weeks and a half.

Progress status: 

• Writing: 38/38 (100%)
• Editing: 32/38 (82%)
• BGs: 9/9 (100%)
• Character art : 22/23 (96%)
• Programming: 26/38  (68%)

Writing and editing

In-between other more pressing tasks we are writing the short stories for the Side Stories book, the first Kickstarter stretch goal we reached. Our current goal is 10 short stories. 4 have been finished so far.

Art

700HASH has completed the cover artwork for The Symbiant's artbook, which you can see at the top of this post! They are currently on a much-deserved break.

Programming

We finished programming the first ending, and we are now halfway through scene 27. After we're done with coding everything, we'll also need extra time to insert the voice acting and additional languages.

Voice acting

The voice recording sessions will resume at the end of the month! It is the most time-consuming and expensive part left to do for The Symbiant. We are looking forward to hearing everyone's performance again!

Private Beta build

Our latest private beta (version 0.3.9p) covers up to scene 15, featuring a very curious Oatith. We're also happy to inform you that should you come to DoKomi in Dusseldorf, you will be able to play our beta up to scene 15 as well!

We would also like to thank all of you who pre-ordered The Symbiant on itchio over the past month! We amount we received is very helpful and will be re-invested directly into the game. To show our appreciation and keep everyone waiting, we are preparing something exciting for the coming days. =)
