Greetings alien lovers!

Now that we had some rest, we are back to work on The Symbiant! We sent all merch packages to those who ordered them, and we got some good progress done since last week.

Progress status:

• Writing: 38/38 (100%)
• Editing: 38/38 (100%!!!)
• Character & BG art: 32/32 (100%)
• Programming: 28/38  (74%)
• Voice acting: 12/38 (32%)
• Audio engineering: 6/38 (16%)

Writing and editing

Ende finished editing the last scenes of the game, meaning the script is now only waiting to be inserted into the game code. We also finished outlining the story of the first DLC.

Programming

Fable finished coding the second ending of the game! It was more challenging than the last, and we hope you'll enjoy it when you get it. After we get all the voice clip, we'll have to implement those inside the game code as well.

Voice acting

As mentioned in the last update, the voice recording started again. The voice actors and director have more sessions scheduled next week. Irlana is currently in the process of "cutting" the lines before sending them all for audio processing. We are currently looking for someone to replace our current engineer, as they got more busy IRL and won't be available to process everything before our deadline.

Beta build: version 0.5.3

This week we had another round of tentacle goodness! It's another milestone in Danya, Brahve and Oatith's relationship and we are very happy with how it turned out. That beta is available to patrons in the 'Xenophile' tier.
