!!! The Symbiant at the Steam Next Fest !!!

For the Steam Next Fest, Irlana is streaming the game's extended demo! You can come and watch it in The Symbiant's Steam page until the end of the week.

Writing and Editing

Our editor Ende completed the last round of edits on The Symbiant's first DLC! We're proud to report it's a juicy total of 17K+ words, featuring 2.5 erotic scenes (half because one of them is short)! We're getting excited about having this voiced!

Art

We got 2 CGs done for the DLC, and 700HASH is currently working on a new character who will appear in the second DLC! Additionally, we are commissioning a bunch of new backgrounds for the new locations!

UI

The design for the Music Room was recently completed by Irlana! You'll be able to listen to The Symbiant's tracks as you unlock them in the game. Next on our list are the Achievements! We are aiming for a generous total of 50 achievements which will be integrated to the game's UI - this way you'll be able to get them no matter which platform you're playing the game on. Of course, achievements will also be available through Steam!

Programming and QA

Fable spent several days reworking the game's entire script to make inserting translation easier, and inserted the German translation up to scene 12 as a test (the German translation is 100% finished by the way)! Irlana is currently in the process of going through the English script and doing small fixes to make sure our voice over fully corresponds to the written script!

Beta: version 0.6.4

The latest beta contains 26 scenes and The Symbiant's first ending! It is available as usual for the $20 patrons on Patreon and the beta backers. Additionally, it's now possible to purchase permanent access to the beta including the future DLCs on the game's itch page.
