Greetings Terrans! :D

The February 2nd release is in a little more than 2 weeks. Since last update, we've been neck-deep in various tasks in hope everything is ready on time.

Such tasks include:

• Creating Steam pages for the guide, artbook, R18 patch and soundtracks
• Making the guide, artbook, and preparing the soundtracks themselves
• Getting each page approved by Steam (this takes longer than you think)
• Hunting and squashing bugs
• Having our translators test the game build and fixing translation-related bugs
• Filing paperwork to register our own company, HeartCore Développement
• Crying a lot

The Symbiant has been greenlit on GOG!!!

A GOG representative emailed us this month to tell us that the game has has been greenlit on the GOG store. Needless to say, we were overjoyed when we received the email breaking the good news. They also offered to add our previous game Synthetic Lover to their catalogue. As per their advice, The Symbiant will be safe-for-work by default on the GOG storefront with an optional patch, just like on Steam. All languages will be included as well. 

Long story short, The Symbiant will come out on February 2nd on itch.io, Steam and GOG! :D

Art

Doubleleaf had a long break. This week they are resuming work on inking and coloring the CGs for the second After-Story. Example above!

Programming

We are receiving yet more typo fixes and bug reports from our translators. Aside from that, every language has been fully implemented! We've also been testing the Steam version: making sure the 18+ content restoration patch works properly as well as checking whether the achievements are syncing with the Steam client.
